Shapes by Tim Gaze is available now at Bandcamp! A Post-Asemic Press Sound Poetry/Sonic Release #005
It is titled ʂ ɦ ɑ p ɛ ʃ and is a full album of sonic speech invention.
Tim recently finished a degree in linguistics and his education serves him well in these recordings.
They are difficult to describe but are a pleasure to listen to. The recordings are a new direction pointing towards the future of sound poetry, where Tim engages with the technology of modern recording and effects, but also tells an ancient story of mind and magick. Without any more words, the album best explains itself. Also look out for Tim Gaze's collection of asemic writing Glyphs of Uncertain Meaning coming out this spring 2021 from PAP.

Post-Asemic Press has an official Bandcamp Page for all spoken word/sound poetic endeavors!
Post-Asemic Press now has an official Bandcamp site where I will be releasing tracks related to the press. The first track released is by Mike Di Tommaso. It is a translation of Michael Jacobson's first asemic writing novella The Giant's Fence. There is also another track for Hei Kuu , Michael Jacobson's recent collection of Senryu poems, recited by Diana Magallon with a sonic background by the prolific Internet artist Jeff Crouch. There is also the soundtrack to Michael Jacobson's asemic writing film Mynd Eraser, and his long prose poem The Paranoia Machine.

The Giant's Fence is included in Works & Interviews by Michael Jacobson and can be downloaded for free at UbuWeb.

Hei Kuu by Michael Jacobson is available now at Amazon! Post-Asemic Press #013
My autobiographical collection of Senryu poetry Hei Kuu is available now, at Amazon, from Post-Asemic Press. I wrote the book during my last year of drinking and edited it during the past 5 months that I have been sober. It covers my life and my thoughts and is mostly true with a little bit of mythology thrown in for good measure.
Senryu poetry and asemic writing complement each other well because they both developed outside of academic writing. Hei Kuu covers my formative years as a writer and artist who has a condition called schizoaffective disorder, but still gets out of bed every morning to run Post-Asemic Press.
The poems are short and can be read in a single breath. They are also highly scrollable, and are easy to jump from one poem to the next. I tried to stick to a 5-7-5 syllable/morae pattern as in more traditional Senryu/haiku mainly for an Oulipo like constraint and personal challenge even though I know a lot of contemporary authors don't abide by this tradition; I was for the most part successful, but about 10 of the 409 poems don't follow this pattern.
The name Hei Kuu is from Finnish and means "Hello Moon," and is also a play on haiku. I am mostly a Finnish/English American/Turtle Islander writer who approaches writing from a visual art background. I have always loved books and Hei Kuu is my modest contribution to poetry. I hope you check it out!
"Hei Kuu means "Hello Moon" in Suomi (Finnish). These are the 409 Senryu, quasi-haiku, ribald-punk, sacred-profane, experimental-illness, schizo-affective, lunatic-lunar, computer-telepathic, anarchic-autobiographic, noita-divining, agnostic-confessional, poem-stories behind my wild western asemic writing life."
