"Most of the material is from the last yr or 2, with a couple pueces being slightly older than that. All the instrumentation / sounds were by me with the exception of a few tracks where my brother, bryan davis, played acoustic guitar (1915 and tar) and electric bass (holes).
I am pleased with it, although i know some strict-to-form listeners might take exception as the material often falls outside of the 'standard' rubric of sound poetry, at least, sound poetry as i've come to conventionally understand it, or, often hear it performed. Aside from the backing music/sounds, all of the voice material was improvised on the spot over the composed music, so i would write the music out, and then record it in 1 or 2 takes while adding the vox...
All in all, i am very pleased with the results
