Schizo Variation (noise, asemic, & sound poetry) by Asemic Writer is available now for pre-order at Bandcamp!
Well I finally got around to collecting some of my sound/noise poetry ideas onto an audio recording, and the result is Schizo Variations. I spent years thinking about doing a soundpo album and the past week recording it and bringing it to fruition. Post-Asemic Press is excited to release this epic grind of vocal distortion. Noise poetry is what I call it, though sound poetry and vocalized asemic poetry also work as adequate descriptors. There are 7 tracks on this record of various lengths and intensity. The album has 7 poems with sonic backing ranging across the full spectrum of my vocal ability. At times the album rocks and at other instances it offers confusion. The concept of the album is about crawling out of the mental pit and learning how to survive when your own mind has turned against you.
Look for it to be released on New Years Day 2022.
